What separates me from the other person is that I haven’t forgotten what I’ve been through and what it took to get where I am today. The LEDM scholarship will take a financial burden off my family and let my knowledge open doors for me.

Unfortunately, my parents, who never attended college, cannot contribute to my college education financially. My only hope for attending college is through scholarships, financial aid and working during the summers. The LEDM scholarship would help me attain this goal.

I work very hard in school and always try my best to make very good grades in all my classes. No matter how hard things may be for me to learn, I always manage to come through in the end and make great grades. Receiving this scholarship will help me achieve my dreams and my dream is to go to college at TCC, and from there to a University to major in Psychology. This scholarship will really help make a huge impact in my future and anything that I will need along the way in order to get there. It will provide me with a lot of support and keep me less worried about how I will pay for my classes.
